Job Summary
Supervise and manage assigned Haunted Houses and Scare Zones, ensuring actors are in full costume and makeup and ready for operation. Conduct pre-opening inspections for cleanliness, safety, and show quality while monitoring staffing levels and coordinating adjustments. Lead and motivate a team of 10–15 members, maintain proper break coverage, and address guest concerns professionally. Monitor attractions for technical issues, communicate updates from management, and partner with Gate Keepers to manage queue lines. Complete all required documentation including safety talks and coaching records. Utilize two-way radios to coordinate effectively. This role requires availability from September 1 through November 1, 2026, and involves working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work all operating days (Fridays–Sundays) from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2026.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous haunted attraction experience and/or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, guest service, and workplace safety.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups and engaging with guests and team members.
- Alert and able to react quickly to changing show conditions, guest needs, and crowd situations.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and at all times of day.
- Must be able to work around strobe lighting, fog effects, loud noises, and other theatrical elements.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, traverse all areas of the park and haunted attractions, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and the ability to meet Six Flags driving requirements.
