Job Summary
Provide direct services including general, medical, and legal advocacy to primary victims/survivors and/or secondary victims/survivors such as family, friends, and guardians at on-site and off-site locations (schools, detention centers, jails, courts, police precincts) with in-person or virtual advocacy when needed. Coordinate and co-facilitate Sexual Assault Advocacy Core trainings, maintain updated training materials, manage scheduling and staffing, ensure staff/volunteer trainees complete required trainings, support survivor-centered groups, assist with volunteer coordination and coverage, collaborate with program leadership and community partners, and ensure timely documentation and reporting in accordance with federal/state requirements and program policies. Responsibilities also include developing relationships with partners, providing make-up trainings, guiding volunteers, assisting with grant applications and reporting, and tracking hours via monthly timesheets.
