Job Summary

The SEWB Facilitator delivers training, professional development, and workforce support across the Northern Territory, including delivering training packages such as Culturally Responsive Trauma Informed Practice (CRTIP), Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid (ATSIMHFA), and Narrative Practice. The role involves developing collaborative relationships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) and key organisations, creating and updating high-quality training resources and materials, facilitating SEWB training both face-to-face and online, applying trauma-informed approaches, mentoring and supporting ACCHS to apply learning outcomes, contributing to monitoring and evaluation, and performing general team duties. Key skills include cross-cultural communication, program development, research and professional development, project management, knowledge of trauma-informed practice, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Travel to remote locations by plane or vehicle is required as part of regular duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Work experience and/or qualifications in training and facilitating, social and emotional wellbeing, suicide prevention and mental health; community development; social work; alcohol and other drugs; or counselling.
