Sew Shop Technician

Job Summary
Wrap and band synthetic and ENR slings, support the auto cutter operator with cutting, folding, and marking materials, and attach tags to products. Sew towing products and 1" to 2" synthetic slings up to two plies with oversight. Operate commercial sewing machines and banders while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following all health and safety rules. Requires basic machine mechanics understanding, strong math and reading skills, and experience with Microsoft Office. Must lift up to 75 pounds with assistance and have good hand-eye coordination. High school diploma and six months of warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of related warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Ability to operate commercial sewing machines and banders
- Strong math, reading and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with smart phones, computers and software including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time and 75 pounds max with assistance
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect products/tags/label
