Job Summary
Provide exceptional behavior treatment services for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders using an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based therapy, working 2:1 with patients and families to reach individualized goals supervised by a BCBA. Teach clients communication, social, and self-help skills in individual or small group settings while collecting data to monitor progress and providing regular written and verbal updates on treatment goals. Adhere to all policies and procedures, including confidentiality and mandated reporting standards, and maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices. Experience working in crisis situations including severe aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction is required. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, families, and colleagues, and attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge. Full-time and part-time schedules available Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in crisis situations including severe aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction
- Once you have completed Behavior Technician (BT) training, but prior to completing RBT Certification
