Job Summary
The Setup Technician - 2nd Shift is responsible for performing initial setups for production runs, troubleshooting process issues, and documenting production processes. Key duties include improving production efficiencies, conducting daily equipment checks, performing mold maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The role requires good communication with the Quality Control Department and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform various manual tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Good knowledge of all machine functions
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs
- Understanding of company policies regarding conduct, safety practices, and job performance
