Job Summary
Setup Technician performs setup and installation of units including anchoring, block and leveling, interior and exterior seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, and ramps; may require installation/removal of skirting; handles knock-down of buildings including shipping walls, securing exterior walls, disconnecting utility and mate-line crossovers, and preparing items for shipment; conducts on-site service work for customer units including electrical and plumbing tasks; makes customer modifications; completes Work Orders and Service Orders via the Field Service Application; maintains tools and equipment; may perform duties of Branch or Field Service Tech as needed; builds and maintains relationships with customers and internal staff; required to have a High School diploma or GED, carpentry/construction skills, and a valid driver's license; WillScot emphasizes veteran-friendly hiring.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades
- Set-up and knock-down experience preferred
- Some experience with customer relationship management (CRM) preferred
- Some knowledge of computers is necessary
- Good communication skills for dealing with customers, salespeople, contractors, shop personnel and co-workers
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- A current valid license and a good driving record
