Job Summary
Setup Technician at WillScot performs essential setup of units (anchoring, leveling, interior/exterior seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, ramps) and may handle skirting installation/removal, knock-down of buildings (shipping walls, exterior walls, disconnections of utilities, securing items for shipment, site cleaning, removing installations), on-road service work (electrical/plumbing), customer modifications, and processing Work Orders via the Field Service Application. The role requires tools/equipment maintenance, potential duties as Branch or Field Service Tech as needed, and building strong relationships with customers. Education includes a High School diploma or GED with carpentry familiarity; experience with CRM is a plus; independent work ability and a valid driver’s license are required. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Carpentry skills
- Set-up and knockdown experience preferred
- Some experience with customer relationship management preferred
- Some knowledge of computers is necessary
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- A current valid license and a good driving record
