Job Summary
Prepare and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, and milling by translating blueprints and mechanical drawings into computer commands. Load raw materials, run test cycles to verify specifications, and supervise full production runs while making necessary adjustments. Inspect finished products against requirements and perform daily maintenance checks to ensure machine functionality. Train on first-shift operations during initial onboarding. This union position requires a high school diploma, engineering certificate, or successfully completed apprenticeship, with proven experience operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as CNC operator
- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Good communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successfully completed apprenticeship
- Must be able to train on 1st Shift
