Job Summary
Set up and clean banquet functions, monitor assigned sections to ensure all patrons are served, and greet guests upon arrival. Vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, and wipe areas clean before, during, and after events, ensuring the banquet room remains organized, safe, and stocked. Clear and lock all rooms at the close of functions, store equipment in designated areas, and report tips for tax processing. Work varying shifts including nights and weekends, adhering to safety procedures and maintaining hotel standards.
Required Qualifications
- Three to six months related experience
- Ability to read write and speak the English language
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
- Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely
- Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time
- Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours
