Settlement Officer - Brokerage Operations

Job Summary
Manage daily transaction settlement and reconciliation, verifying client balances, payment records, and deposit/withdrawal requests. Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies while maintaining accurate settlement documentation and reports. Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure all activities adhere to company policies and applicable regulations. Identify and escalate unusual transactions or unresolved issues promptly. Complete these duties within strict deadlines in a fast-paced, transaction-intensive environment, potentially working outside standard business hours. Proficiency in MT4, MT5, or similar trading systems is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in settlement, brokerage operations, finance operations, banking, or financial services
- Good understanding of transaction processing and reconciliation procedures
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong integrity, responsibility, and compliance awareness
- Able to manage multiple transactions and priorities within established deadlines
- Able to coordinate effectively with different internal teams
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Able to communicate effectively in English with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to read and understand transaction records, system information, reports, and operational procedures in English
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or the relevant local language is required
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and transaction-intensive environment
- May be required to work outside standard business hours
- Must be able to complete daily settlement and reconciliation activities within strict deadlines
- Must be able to respond promptly to urgent transaction discrepancies and operational issues
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience working in a brokerage, securities, forex, CFD, banking, or FinTech environment
- Familiarity with MT4, MT5, or other trading and settlement systems
- Experience handling client deposits, withdrawals, payments, or disbursements
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing and daily reconciliation
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
