Setter/ Operator Press - Days

Setter/Operator Press – Day Shift (Permanent) at Alcester site. Operates and sets presses within the Manufacturing Department, maintaining required output per Job Card, adjusting parameters (tool shut height, stroke, tonnage, dwell, lubrication) and using air and hand tools. Reads manufacturing instructions, Job Cards, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, and Inspection Plans; prepares work holding and tooling; performs in-process inspection and records, ensures conformity and reports non-conformances; completes TPM activities, adheres to 5S, and supports Continuous Improvement. 1–2 years’ experience in aerospace/engineering/manufacturing or similar machine-setting roles desirable; positive, collaborative team member focused on safety, quality, and delivering targets.
