Setter I

Entry-level Setter I at ALPLA's Iowa facility supports Mold Change Setter II by performing mold changes and replacing heads/molds on blow molding equipment to meet QA standards. The role involves assisting with start-up in molds used for established products, maintaining effective communication with supervisors and team members, and contributing to efficient, safe, and organized operations. Key duties include performing mold changes within defined timeframes, working as part of a team, and upholding housekeeping and safety standards. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts.
