Job Summary
The Set-up Technician performs preventive maintenance, machine changeovers, operation and repair of machines and equipment, and ensures compliance with ISO 14001/IATF 16949. Key duties include maintaining machines, performing repairs and troubleshooting, loading/unloading, preparing machine set-ups, performing LO/TO, conducting quality inspections, labeling and transporting pallets, and adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. Requires experience in high-volume manufacturing, strong mechanical, pneumatic/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, troubleshooting, math and measurement skills, and proficiency with MS Office; ERP/CRM experience is a plus. Shift is 10:55 PM - 7:05 AM (Training 1st Shift). In-person work location: Gainesville, GA, US, with standard manufacturing environment exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical background
- Basic pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic knowledge
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Advanced math skills
- Basic knowledge of measurement devices
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/CRM experience a plus
- Good reading comprehension of work instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good ability to work in a team environment
- Good organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Attendance and punctuality
- Pushing and Pulling up to 60 lbs using material handling equipment
- Frequent bending, reaching outward and reaching above shoulders
- Prolonged periods lifting up to 35 lbs
- Occasional climbing, crawling, squatting, kneeling, working from heights and working in narrow spaces
