Job Summary
Set up and operate manufacturing equipment including press brakes, punch presses, CNC machinery, riveters, and wire benders according to production schedules. Retrieve work orders and blueprints to determine tooling and material requirements, then verify first-piece quality and perform routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Complete production and quality documentation, maintain a clean work area following 5S standards, and follow all safety procedures while wearing required PPE. Assist with material handling and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, ability to read blueprints, and physical stamina to lift up to 35 pounds. Overtime is required as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or machine operator experience
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work overtime as required
