Set-Up Mechanic

Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing line machines according to product batch records while conducting routine mechanical inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs on production equipment, perform efficient changeovers between products or formats, and execute track and trace activities on packaging machinery. Maintain the Lockout & Tagout system, ensure cleanliness of equipment and rooms, and keep accurate logs for all setups, maintenance, adjustments, and downtime. Assist other maintenance staff on special projects as needed while ensuring compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
