Set Up role based on drawings and specs: reads drawings, specifies sub-assemblies, fits up and tack welds nozzles, plates and reinforcements for large units; directs helpers, prepares fixtures, and minimizes heat-related distortions. Requires welding knowledge and ASME IX qualifications; operates various handling equipment; ensures quality and safety; may design templates and assist with corrective actions with engineering. Emphasizes leadership, adherence to quality standards, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of welding
- Competent in use of material handling equipment
