Job Summary
Process mortgage loans from application to funding by ordering and reviewing verification documents, including insurance, title work, tax transcripts, and payoffs. Independently calculate self-employed income and monitor workflow to ensure timely closings while assisting in funding a minimum of 20 units per month. Communicate with borrowers, operations staff, title companies, and Realtors to expedite the mortgage process, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Maintain product knowledge and stay current on market conditions and underwriting guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to order and review all verification documents; insurance, title work, tax transcripts, verification of employment, verification of deposits, flood certifications, payoffs
- Ability to independently calculate all types of self-employed income
- Ability to assist in funding a minimum of 20 units per month while working towards the same units for the following month
- Ability to monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely closings
- Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on changes to market conditions
- Ability to communicate with borrowers, operations staff, title companies, Realtors, etc., to expedite mortgage process
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending
- Teamwork and customer service

- Strong computer and technology related skills
- Able to work independently and proactively, prioritizing workload and handle multiple tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, & VA underwriting guidelines
- Jr. Mortgage Processing experience
- TRID knowledge
- Experience using Empower LOS
- SalesForce experience and knowledge on working within a database
