Job Summary
Special Education Teacher for maternity-leave positions in-person at Elmhurst, IL. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs for students with disabilities, providing differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive settings, adapting lesson plans and curricula to meet diverse needs, assessing student progress with data-driven decisions, collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff, participating in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences, maintaining records per ISBE and IDEA guidelines, and implementing behavioral intervention plans and classroom management strategies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsement
