Job Summary
Setting the heel on cowboy boots: operate machinery to trim and shape leather heels, align and attach heels to the boot soles using cement and adhesives, shape and sand heels to achieve the correct height and smooth finish, inspect materials for defects, ensure heel meets design specifications, meet established daily production goals, and follow safety guidelines; duties include reading and following production tickets, maintaining quality and efficiency, and supporting team production flow.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years or related experience in boot manufacturing
