Job Summary
Sessional Yoga Therapist partnership with Priory Hospital Chelmsford to deliver one-to-one therapy, supporting clients to achieve their treatment goals, either face-to-face in a clinical environment or online. Self-employed, with flexibility to choose days/hours, typically 8–15 sessions per week, and access to on-site clinical space and admin support. Specialties welcomed include CBT, Integrative Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Family Therapy, or other modalities. Requires professional registration (HCPC/UKCP/BABCP/BACP/NCPS/BPC/ACAT/ACP) and accreditation (or progress toward accreditation within 12 months). Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic delivery within clinical governance frameworks, with steady patient flow and referrals provided. hybrid/onsite options; DBS and regulatory checks covered by Priory; on-site parking and subsidised meals at many locations.
Required Qualifications
- Professional registration with HCPC / UKCP / BABCP / BACP / NCPS / BPC / ACAT / ACP (as appropriate)
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
- Accreditation with a relevant professional body (or working towards within 12 months)
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
- Experience with clinical governance frameworks, digital systems, concise clinical notes, and risk management meetings
