Job Summary
Sessional Lecturer for MSC1130H: GPD Career Course in Skills for Medical Affairs in BioTech and Pharma. Responsibilities include preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours. Applicants must have a PhD in biomedical science or related field and at least 5 years of medical affairs experience in Pharma/Biotech, plus curriculum development and college/university teaching experience. Preferred experience teaching biomedical graduate students. Location: University of Toronto, St. George campus (Downtown Toronto). Salary per CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement; specific rates listed for various lecturer levels. Closing date: June 16, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- PhD degree in biomedical science or a related discipline
- minimum of 5 years of experience working in medical affairs in Pharma/Biotech
- experience developing curriculum
- demonstrated effective teaching in a college or university setting
- prior experience teaching biomedical graduate students is an asset
