Job Summary
Sessional Lecturer for MMG3003Y: Genomic Methodologies in the MHSc Medical Genomics program. Teaching 1-half term (0.5 FCE, 7 weeks) in winter, co-taught with another faculty member in Molecular Genetics. Responsibilities include delivering lectures and tutorials (Mon/Wed/Fri 10:00–12:00 during winter term), working with a teaching assistant, and adapting existing syllabus and materials. Requires an advanced degree (MD or PhD) in genetics/genomics/molecular biology or related field and university-level teaching experience, with knowledge of DNA-based methods and computational pipelines for sequencing data analysis, plus proficiency with command-line tools and R. Salary ranges provided per CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement and may be adjusted by the final agreement. Preference given to candidates advanced to Sessional Lecturer II or III per collective agreement.
