Job Summary
Design and teach university credit course KIN8320H1F: Quantitative Research Methods, focusing on research approaches and statistical techniques used in physical activity and health. Responsibilities include preparation and delivery of course content, development, administration, and grading of assignments, tests, and exams, holding regular office hours, and supervising teaching assistants if applicable. Topics covered include descriptive and inferential statistics, non-parametric methods, univariate and multivariate analysis of variance, correlation, and regression. This course will be taught in person. Qualifications emphasize PhD preferred in a relevant area (or relevant expertise and experience) and teaching experience in a college/university setting is an asset. The appointment runs September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 at 0.5 FCE.
