Job Summary
Deliver and oversee a Forensic Psychopharmacology course (24L/12S) for 40 enrolled students, including preparation and delivery of course material, assignments, tests/exams, grading, and supervising teaching assistants. Responsibilities include holding regular office hours, providing instruction on marking, and submitting grades; in-person lectures scheduled Thursdays 3:00 PM–6:00 PM for the January 1, 2027 – April 30, 2027 session. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or ABD in Chemistry or Toxicology (or Honours BSc with 5+ years in forensic toxicology), plus experience teaching toxicology and ideally act as an expert witness; familiarity with course-management systems (e.g., Quercus/Canvas) and virtual tools (Zoom) is preferred. Required Qualifications
- A Ph.D. (completed or ABD with active student status at issuing institution) in Chemistry or Toxicology, or at minimum an Honours Bachelor of Science with 5+ years’ experience in a forensic toxicology lab.
- Experience in the field of Forensic Toxicology or equivalent; and experience teaching toxicology courses is required.
