Job Summary
Prepare, organize, and teach a graduate course (CTL7008H - Introduction to Special Education and Mental Health) for Master of Teaching candidates; duties include teaching, providing student feedback, and attending planning/meetings; must demonstrate currency in course subject matter, excellence in teaching (including online), and knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion; appointment is 100% with stipend details for half-credit course within CUPE 3902 Unit 3 framework; candidate should have doctoral degree or equivalent professional experience and may hold an Ontario Teaching certificate (asset).
Required Qualifications
- doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
- currency and mastery in course subject matter
- excellence in teaching, including online teaching as relevant
- knowledge and practice of equity, diversity, and inclusion
- excellence in teaching and leading teachers/teacher-candidates' professional learning
- Ontario Teaching certificate is an asset
