Job Summary
Diagnose and repair HVAC, gas, and air conditioning installations in city and educational buildings. Maintain systems by identifying faults, resetting programming, and cleaning filters. Replace filters, repair electrical failures on motors and pumps, and service air conditioning units. Handle gas installations and report hazardous situations like carbon monoxide risks. Support tasks outside your expertise and place small orders using a tablet or smartphone. Work independently or in teams, operating on stands and ladders while requiring good physical fitness. Full-time contract in Gent with a salary starting at €2,444 monthly. Requires a secondary technical diploma, relevant certificate, or minimum one year of HVAC experience, plus a manual transmission driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma secundair onderwijs in een relevante technische richting (zoals elektriciteit, HVAC, elektronica, mechanica, loodgieterij)
- Getuigschrift/certificaat/attest van een relevante technische opleiding (zoals elektriciteit, HVAC, elektronica, mechanica, loodgieterij), uitgereikt door een door de Vlaamse overheid erkende opleidingsorganisatie
- Minimum 1 jaar relevante professionele ervaring als technicus HVAC (heating, ventilation, airconditioning)
- Rijbewijs B (handgeschakeld)
- Geen hoogtevrees
- Goede fysieke conditie
