Job Summary
Directly install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT/OT infrastructure components following Standard Operating Procedures. Provide Tier 1–3 diagnostic support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues across office and plant environments while triaging EST P1 and P2 calls. Maintain cloud and on-premises data center infrastructure, catalog equipment, and optimize shop floor systems including HMI and PLC interfaces. Mentor staff, analyze KPIs and SLAs for service improvement, and develop accurate documentation and network diagrams. Collaborate with third-party vendors and enterprise teams to ensure business continuity and security in manufacturing settings. Requires 40-hour on-site schedule with emergency call-in availability for 24-hour production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or commensurate equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, with a focus on 24x7 manufacturing or industrial environments
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server
- Deep knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware)
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory
- Deep knowledge of O365
- Experience with HPE or Cisco networking platforms
- Knowledge of firewalls (e.g., FortiGate)
- Proven ability to manage 3rd party vendor relationships and communicate up and down the chain
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on rapport-building and listening
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to execute tasks in high-pressure environments
- 40-hour on-site work week
