Job Summary

Coordinate IF services, athlete logistics, and sport information for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Plan and manage administrative functions including recruitment, training, and scheduling of full-time staff and sport-specific volunteers. Act as the primary contact for the International Federation, NOC/NPC teams, and technical officials to resolve Games Time issues and share databases. Manage a team of employees and volunteers across competition phases, ensuring operational procedures are followed and stakeholder needs are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in collaborating with National and International Federations and knowledge of their structure and functioning during national and international events
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the operational elements required for organizing major sports events/competitions
  • Experience in international sporting events
  • Experience in managing a team (staff and volunteers) at major events
  • Good understanding and knowledge of project management, including planning and producing tracking documents
  • Ability to manage multiple projects involving numerous stakeholders
  • Skills in report writing and presentation materials
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
  • Long-term interest and involvement in Olympic and Paralympic sport
  • Understanding and ability to use project management tools
  • Rigor and very good organizational skills

  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods (up to 8+ hours a day) across large event venues
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively via two-way radio and in person in high-noise environments
  • Requires the ability to work flexible and extended hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event delivery phases

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in working with an International Federation and knowledge of their structure and operation
  • Experience of working with a National Sport Federation and knowledge of its structure and operation at domestic and international events
  • Knowledge of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as the specific sport's technical requirements
