Job Summary

Plan and coordinate administrative functions for Beach Volleyball and Blind Football events, serving as the dedicated sport contact for the International Federation on accommodation, transportation, and accreditation. Relay critical services to athletes, technical officials, and stakeholders while managing recruitment, training, and deployment of both staff and sport-specific volunteers. Coordinate test event operations, share databases with the International Federation, and act as the primary point of contact for NOC/NPC services teams to resolve Games time issues. Manage full-time employee teams and volunteer logistics, including scheduling and task delegation, while collaborating with the Sport Manager and technical operations leads to ensure operational procedures are followed.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating with National and International Federations and knowledge of their structure and functioning during national and international events
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the operational elements required for organizing major sports events/competitions
  • Experience in international sporting events
  • Experience of working with an International Federation and knowledge of their structure and operation
  • Experience of working with a National Sport Federation and knowledge of its structure and operation at domestic and international events
  • Experience managing a team (staff and volunteers) at major events
  • Good understanding and knowledge of project management, including planning and producing tracking documents
  • Ability to manage multiple projects involving numerous stakeholders
  • Skills in report writing and presentation materials
  • Knowledge of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as the specific sport's technical requirements
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
  • Long-term interest and involvement in Olympic and Paralympic sports
  • Understanding and ability to use project management tools
  • Rigor and very good organizational skills

  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods

Desired Qualifications
