Services Global Sanctions Risk Senior Manager - Senior Vice President

Job Summary
Senior Manager within Citi’s Services group responsible for sanctions risk across all Services lines of business. Provide sanctions subject matter expertise on laws, regulations and controls; assess complex sanctions risk issues, structure solutions, and drive effective resolution with senior stakeholders. Oversee governance, control enhancements, and escalation practices to ensure compliance with global policies and applicable law. Collaborate with First and Second line colleagues, Product, Operations, and Technology to embed holistic sanctions risk management, and prepare updates for senior management and governance committees. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving sanctions requirements and assess impact on clients, products, and services. Role located in Warsaw, Poland with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days at home per week).
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in sanctions risks frameworks (first or second line) including trade sanctions and export controls
- Experience in Financial Services, AML/Sanctions Compliance or Risk & Controls with focus on Financial Crimes Risks
- Knowledge of Issuer Services, Investor Services, Payments, Trade, Working Capital, and/or Liquidity Management products
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Financial Crime certification preferred (ACAMS, ACSS etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
