Job Summary
Define a robust cost strategy roadmap and policies for the Trent XWB engine lifecycle, managing service agreement costs while maintaining product safety and reliability. Support the Aftermarket Cost Manager by generating cost bases for financial reporting, including time on wing, shop cost, and services cost. Lead the CORB (Cost of Ownership Review Board) and own the Engine Management Programme, Fit New vs. Repair Policy, and Product Change Management processes. Complete data modelling using Excel and Power BI to identify LCC reduction opportunities and drive profitability across the 700+ aircraft in service.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering background preferably within Aerospace Industry
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering, numerate or business discipline
- Innovative thinking and a drive to solve problems and take accountability
- Financial management, commercial acumen and decision-making skills
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Highly analytical and able to interpret data and complete data modelling using Microsoft Excel
- Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across diverse and global teams
- Proven track record in delivering results in challenging environments and clear capability of influencing across functions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
