Job Summary
ServiceNow Systems Administrator for USUHS applications focused on sustainment of existing scoped apps and delivery of new, fully functional ServiceNow solutions. Responsible for translating user requirements into robust designs, implementing secure and compliant development practices per DoD standards, and ensuring quality through QA and deployment management. The role requires collaboration across stakeholders to maintain operational availability, security posture, and alignment with USUHS objectives, and includes responsibilities for documenting requirements, specifications, and resulting configurations. Active Secret Clearance is required. Location includes Bethesda, MD on-site with additional remote work options; remote work is available for US-based operations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required) or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience with a focus on scoped applications
- Proven experience designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining custom scoped applications within ServiceNow
- Demonstrated ability to manage entire application lifecycles from requirements gathering to production support
- Security+ (preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM, HAM, SAM, SecOps, or ITOM (preferred)
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification (preferred)
