Job Summary
ServiceNow Software Engineer at Akira Technologies (remote with occasional onsite) supporting US Army contract. Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/BPA solutions; configure platform components; develop custom apps using JavaScript/HTML/CSS; integrate with external systems via APIs and middleware; administer platform (RBAC, performance tuning); support incident/problem management; document configurations and provide end-user training. Requires BS in CS/IT or related field, 5+ years in ServiceNow, ServiceNow and security certifications, and active Secret clearance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow platform engineering or development roles
- Expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and modules ITSM ITOM BPA
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting and development (JavaScript, GlideAPI)
- Experience with REST API, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub
- Strong ITIL knowledge and RBAC
- Current ServiceNow certification (CSA)
- Active Secret security clearance
- US citizenship or eligibility for DoD/8570 IAT compliance
- Bachelor’s degree as stated
