Job Summary
Configure, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow SAM Pro modules, including software models, license metrics, and entitlement mappings. Own end-to-end data lifecycle management for entitlements, installations, and usage data by designing ingestion pipelines and enforcing quality controls. Maintain core SAM Pro tables for software, contracts, and subscription records while optimizing reconciliation engine processes to produce accurate effective license positions. Partner with platform, CMDB, security, and procurement teams to align governance models and ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems. Drive continuous improvements to SAM Pro processes and automation frameworks to maintain data accuracy and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro configuration
- Software normalization and reconciliation
- Entitlement management and license modeling
- Data ingestion and transformation processes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting major publisher licensing models (e.g., IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe)
- Experience with SAM managed services environments and vendor coordination
- Certifications: ServiceNow SAM Pro
