Job Summary
Operate within ServiceNow SAMPro to ensure accuracy and integrity of software asset data, validate/update software models, normalize discovery data, configure license metrics/entitlements/reconciliation rules, and manage license allocations. Develop Effective License Positions (ELPs) for tier 1 publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, VMware); perform manual license position calculations when automation is unavailable; analyze procurement, entitlement, deployment, and contract data to identify compliance risks and optimization opportunities; support audit readiness and respond to audit data requests; deliver comprehensive reporting including compliance summaries, optimization recommendations, and KPI dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAMPro
- Strong understanding of software asset management lifecycle and license compliance
- Experience with tier 1 publishers (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, VMware)
- Proficiency in analyzing large datasets
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications in ServiceNow or Software Asset Management (preferred)
