ServiceNow QA Test Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and CSM. Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure efficient regression testing. Conduct rigorous manual functional testing and thorough regression testing during platform upgrades and patch cycles. Verify platform configurations adhere to FedRAMP security controls and data privacy requirements. Identify, document, and track software defects while collaborating with Development and Architecture teams for root cause analysis. Assist in preparing User Acceptance Testing scripts and provide technical support to government stakeholders. Monitor platform performance during load testing to ensure responsiveness under enterprise-scale usage. Requires 4+ years of QA experience with 2+ years on ServiceNow, onsite commitment in Columbus, OH, 5 days a week.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of dedicated Software Quality Assurance experience
- at least 2 years focused specifically on the ServiceNow platform
- Proven experience implementing and managing the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH, 5 days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, ServiceNow Agile/Test Management)
- Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, etc.)
- Prior experience testing systems within a state, local, or federal government framework
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508 compliance)
- Knowledge of security testing protocols
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ISTQB Certified Tester
