ServiceNow Development Lead

Job Summary
Lead and mentor a ServiceNow development team; design and deploy ServiceNow applications, workflows, service catalogs, and integrations across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and SecOps. Define and execute the development strategy, drive platform governance with coding standards and security controls, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Lead complex integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, LDAP, and MID Server; implement automation and advanced workflows leveraging ServiceNow best practices and emerging capabilities (AI/ML). Ensure alignment with ITIL processes, compliance standards, and enterprise security policies; support platform operations including upgrades, patching, performance optimization, and stability. Partner with Transformation and Operations teams for continuous service improvement and platform lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, HTML, CSS
- Deep knowledge of ITSM, HRSD, IRM, or SecOps
- Good understanding of CMDB, ITOM, CSM, and custom application
- Proven experience in ServiceNow architecture design and enterprise integrations
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
