Job Summary
Design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules for ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD, customizing workflows, UI policies, and business rules. Implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with external systems and manage Service Catalog items, record producers, and update sets across environments. Work on scripting with Glide API, Script Includes, and Flow Designer, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain platform performance, security, and scalability. Provide support and enhancements for existing implementations while ensuring proper deployment.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years experience
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes)
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM (mandatory)
- Experience in integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proactive mindset and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITOM / HRSD / CSM / SPM / GRC (good to have)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow CIS – Data foundation and CSDM
- ServiceNow CIS – ITOM/HRSD/CSM/SecOps/GRC
- Experience with ServiceNow FSM / SecOps / GRC (good to have)
- Performance Analytics and Reporting
- CMDB and Discovery
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models
- Exposure to tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, POSTMAN
