Job Summary
Develop and enhance scoped applications, catalog items, record producers, and workflows in ServiceNow. Write and optimize scripts using GlideRecord, Business Rules, and APIs while implementing ACLs and security best practices. Manage migrations via Update Sets and Application Repository within Agile teams, conducting peer reviews and client testing cycles. Explain ServiceNow concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. This contingent, full-time role offers a salary range of $90k-$140k for candidates with 2+ years of development experience and security clearance eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience (beyond admin-level configuration)
- Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client/Server-side)
- Proficiency with ACLs, including order of operations
- Experience building catalog items, record producers, and scoped applications
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Ability to independently solve technical problems and explain reasoning
- On-camera policy for all virtual company meetings
Desired Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- Experience with HRSD, ITSM, CSM, or PPM modules
- Federal government project experience
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD)
- Strong foundational programming background (beyond ServiceNow-only experience)
