Job Summary
The ServiceNow Developer role involves applying best SDLC practices to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within ServiceNow and integrated systems. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements, participating in project lifecycle aspects, conducting data maintenance in ServiceNow, maintaining integrations with various internal applications, and performing end-to-end testing. Required skills include strong programming experience with Java, J2EE, .NET, and JavaScript, along with ServiceNow development expertise. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, collaborates well in a team environment, and has a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent skills/training/experience.
- 5+ years of IT experience, including at least two structured full lifecycle development projects.
- 4+ years of full-lifecycle software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development with Admin Certification; experience in CSM, ITSM, and ITOM.
- Successfully implemented at least 7 projects on the ServiceNow platform.
- 3+ years of programming experience with Java, J2EE, .NET, and/or JavaScript.
- 3+ years of SQL experience; knowledgeable in SQL and Oracle environments.
- Strong background in software/hardware architecture, solution design, and technical documentation.
- 3+ years writing requirements and design specifications, performing code reviews, and using configuration management tools.
- Experience with repository management tools such as Maven for collaborative development.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in project management and/or business analysis.
- ITIL certification
- Interest or experience in AI
Additional Requirements
- Will work on a graveyard shift schedule – 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, PHT.
