Job Summary
Design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services by implementing business rules, integration components, and custom workflows. Assist with the prototype, test, and deploy technical solutions while integrating legacy systems using mid-server technologies. Document platform policies and promote agile development throughout the full software development life cycle, including analysis, coding, and operational support. Collaborate with System Administrators on incident resolution and help Business Analysts estimate release-level effort. Maintain UI policies, client scripts, and data import configurations to ensure platform stability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow development
- Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling
- Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting
- Experience with Integration components (SSO, LDAP, e.g.) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services)
- Experience with LDAP Integration, ServiceNow Development APIs, and diagnosing performance related issues
- Implement and configure ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Employee Center Pro (ECP), Integration Hub, Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, Knowledge Management, and other products and capabilities on the platform
- Implement ServiceNow customizations including UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, workflow administration, and data import
- Participate in full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Intelligence, DoD, or DHS Customers
- Experience with process development and deployment
- Web Service Integration (API Web Services) experience
- Single Sign-on configuration and administration
- SQL Experience
