ServiceNow CMDB Asset Management Specialist - Manager

Job Summary
Manage the full lifecycle, accuracy, and integrity of IT asset and configuration data within the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring alignment with ITIL standards. Own and manage end-to-end Configuration Item (CI) and IT asset lifecycles, collaborating with architects, developers, and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between the CMDB, discovery tools, and external systems. Monitor CMDB health metrics, lead remediation efforts for identified gaps, and support ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to automate CI and asset data population. This role supports Global Technology Services, the key enabler for State Street's business to deliver data and insights to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and normalization
- Experience supporting IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and process improvement
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and system integrations (APIs, data imports, third-party tools)
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience working with ServiceNow, CMDB, IT Asset Management, or related ITSM functions
Desired Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and other ServiceNow certifications
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification with advanced knowledge of ITIL best practices and the application of concepts
