Job Summary
Lead enterprise-scale ServiceNow ITOM architecture, design, and implementation for Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery, AIOps, and CMDB. Conduct workshops to define roadmaps and target-state architectures while collaborating with stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and cloud leaders. Establish governance standards, design principles, and integration patterns for multi-cloud environments, Splunk, and Azure Monitor. Drive Event Management and AIOps strategy, including root cause analysis and automated remediation. Review technical designs, approve implementation approaches, and mentor solution architects and developers. Provide leadership in solution design reviews, risk assessments, and architecture governance forums. Support program planning, estimation, and stakeholder presentations for executive and technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Enterprise-scale ServiceNow ITOM solutions architecture, design, and implementation experience
- Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery, AIOps, and CMDB domain knowledge
- Collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, cloud teams, network teams, application owners, and operations leaders
- CMDB architecture definition and maintenance including CI classes, data models, relationship frameworks, identification and reconciliation rules (IRE), and governance standards
- Alignment with Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
- Scalable and sustainable ITOM solutions design for hybrid environments
- Discovery and Service Mapping implementation across on-premises, cloud, containerized, and multi-cloud infrastructures
- Enterprise integration architecture between ServiceNow and monitoring, observability, and management tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, LogicMonitor, and other third-party platforms
- Event Management and AIOps strategy including event ingestion, normalization, correlation, alert intelligence, noise reduction, root cause analysis, and automated remediation frameworks
- Alignment with broader IT, cloud, security, and operational strategies
- Technical design review and approval including data models, integration patterns, and implementation approaches
- Leadership in complex technical discussions, solution design reviews, risk assessments, and architecture governance forums
- Automation opportunities leveraging ServiceNow workflows, orchestration, integration technologies, and AI-driven operations capabilities
- Platform scalability, performance, security, and operational readiness assessments
- CMDB governance frameworks, data quality controls, compliance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentorship of solution architects, business analysts, developers, and implementation teams on ITOM architecture best practices
- Strategic recommendations to improve infrastructure visibility, service mapping accuracy, operational efficiency, and IT service health monitoring
