Job Summary
Deliver business application needs by designing, building, and customizing ServiceNow platform applications while preserving baseline functionality. Assist System Administrators with incident resolution and provide mentoring on complex business requirements to ensure smooth platform operation. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within workflows, driving adoption of services across the organization. Stay current on product developments and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovate within the ITSM, ITAM, and Service Catalog modules. Join a geographically distributed team supporting Sourcing & Procurement Operations and Hardware/Software Asset Lifecycle initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in professional software development
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITAM, ITBM, and Service Catalog
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API) and building custom workflows and integrations
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes within an ITIL framework
- Strong requirements gathering and refining experience
Desired Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certifications (e.g., ITSM, HAM, VR)
- ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, especially under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation
- Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines and have strong work ethics
