Job Summary
Service Writer position in Worcester, MA focused on consulting with customers, educating them about vehicle conditions using MPI inspections, achieving VIP SAX performance scores, following VIP processes, and delivering high-quality customer experiences. Responsibilities include taking LMS and vendor trainings, becoming BATS TPMS and ASE certified, communicating with the team, managing service-desk operations, coordinating dispatch of work orders to technicians, participating in training and store meetings, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring procedural compliance with ethics and regulations. Standard schedule is 5 days and 40 hours per week; requires automotive service knowledge and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
