Job Summary
Service Writer in West Lebanon, NH delivers VIP customer experience by consulting with customers about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, coordinating with the service team, and driving adherence to VIP processes and standards. The role requires effective communication with customers and team members, training completion (LMS and vendor trainings), pursuing automotive certifications (BATS, TPMS, ASE), and assisting with dispatching and daily service operations to ensure high performance and adherence to safety, ethics, and regulatory requirements. Standard schedule is five days with 40 hours per week; non-exempt hourly position focusing on service desk duties, customer engagement, and collaboration with the Service Manager and technicians.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
