Job Summary
Service Writer at VIP in Waterville, ME focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience by consulting with customers about vehicle conditions, education on VIP processes, and coordinating with the service team to execute the 5-for-5 process and ensure safety, accuracy, and timely communication. Responsibilities include taking LMS and vendor trainings, achieving high customer engagement scores, managing work orders and dispatch with technicians, maintaining facility and cleanliness, complying with ethics and regulations, and supporting the Service Manager in delivering the VIP standard of service. Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
