Job Summary
Service Writer responsible for consulting with customers, educating them about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection, and using VIP processes to deliver a different and better customer experience. Responsibilities include communicating with the team, taking LMS and vendor trainings, achieving VIP SAX scores, coordinating dispatch of work orders, maintaining a safe and clean service area, and adhering to the Code of Ethics and applicable regulations. Requires ASE certifications (C1 required), BATS TPMS certs, and related automotive service knowledge; standard 5-day work week (40 hours) with a focus on customer engagement and service execution.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
