Job Summary
Service Writer at VIP in Waterville, ME. Responsible for consulting with customers, educating them on vehicle conditions based on MPI results, and delivering a high-quality customer experience aligned with VIP programs. Collaborates with team to ensure effective communication, safety compliance, and execution of VIP processes. Responsibilities include taking LMS and vendor trainings, achieving certifications (BATS, TPMS, ASE), coordinating dispatch of work orders to technicians, maintaining a clean and compliant service area, and upholding service standards and ethics. Standard schedule is 5 days and 40 hours per week; location is Waterville, ME with on-site responsibilities. Ensures safety as priority and participates in meetings, trainings, and daily huddles to drive customer satisfaction and store performance.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
